1970s Bungalow – Whole House Remodel
 |
|

Owners of this 1970s bungalow wanted a new look. With the help of Michelle Weibe (W Design), Sakiyama Construction provided an exterior and interior facelift to this home that included new front façade complemented by tinted stucco and architectural details. Changes to the front entry included new front door with sidelights and curved interior half wall. |

Scope of the work included a rear family room addition off of the remodeled kitchen. The addition also features new side and rear entrances. A new cedar deck adds outdoor living space. Note bathroom window change to glass block detail. |

The rear exterior wall of the existing kitchen and rear entryway were removed to open up into the family room addition. New kitchen cabinets by Gateway Kitchens replaced the original cabinetry (above upper right). Note new granite counters and ceramic backsplash. |

Interior changes included engineered flooring throughout main living area. All new doors, casings and baseboards were installed and the house repainted inside and out. Note the lighted wall cutouts created in the existing stairwell.
