1970's Modern Addition
The objective of this renovation was two-fold: firstly, to expand the existing dining room by adding a cantilevered alcove (left), and secondly, to bring the outdoors into a bright new sunroom living space. The new addition was designed by Michelle and Craig Weibe of W Design Group. |

This new sunken family room/sunroom provides a panoramic view of the homeowners' beautifully landscaped yard. The compact space is given more volume through the use of a cathedral ceiling. Low maintenance PVC triple pane casement windows (Stormtight by Duraco) have been banked together to provide maximum light. |

The new addition was positioned at the rear of the home to provide a courtyard area with cedar decking that steps down into an interlocking brick patio. |
